January Enrollment Now Open at Jitterbugs

The new year is a wonderful time for fresh beginnings, and at Jitterbugs we are excited to share that January enrollment is now open. We currently have limited openings for children aged 2½ years through 5 years old in our nurturing, play-based learning environment.

At Jitterbugs, we believe early childhood is a time to grow confidence, curiosity, and emotional security. Our programs are thoughtfully designed to support children as they explore, learn, and build strong foundations for the years ahead. Through intentional play, caring relationships, and calm, engaging spaces, children are encouraged to develop at their own pace while feeling safe and supported.

January is an ideal time to begin childcare. Children benefit from settling into routines early in the year, forming meaningful connections with educators and peers, and growing into their classroom environment alongside friends. Our experienced educators focus on both learning and emotional well-being, helping children transition smoothly and confidently.

Families interested in enrolling are encouraged to call us at (250) 743-3495 or cell number (250) 710-4508 and come in to book a tour. Visiting Jitterbugs in person allows you to experience our environment, meet our educators, and see firsthand how our approach supports children and families.

One of the most important things we observe as educators at Jitterbugs is how much learning happens in the quiet moments of play. When children are given time, space, and trust, they naturally begin to explore, problem-solve, and regulate their emotions. A child pouring water back and forth, lining up stones, or repeating a movement isn’t just playing — they are building focus, confidence, and understanding of the world around them.

Do you offer part-time care?

Jitterbugs provides care for children from infancy through the preschool years. Our programs are intentionally designed to support children at each stage of development, meeting them where they are emotionally, socially, and cognitively. We also offer part time care.
